You will be collected from your accommodation by one of our drivers and taken down to the Port of Sorrento to meet with your skipper who will welcome you aboard and be ready to set sail for Positano & Amalfi. Heading out of the port you will be able to see Sorrento and its stunning high position perched on the rock face on one side - and of course the ever present and recognizable Mount Vesuvius on the other! We will set sail in the direction of Punta Campanella, located on the headline of the Sorrentine Peninsula. From here you will be able to see your first glimpse of the Galli Islands off the coast of Capri, this is whereas legend has it the Sirens of the Seas once lived. Crossing the bay of Ieranto, a marine reserve, where if we are lucky, we may spot Dolphins who are known to frequent the limpid waters. We can stop here to have a swim or maybe try a little snorkelling. The sea life is abundant in these waters, and due to the depth of the sea in this area, scholls of fish are in abundance. From here we will head off to Positano.
As soon as we arrive in Positano, you will be blown away by the beauty of this vertical town clinging to the cliff. If you like we can dock here allowing you some free time to wander the streets and maybe do a little shopping in the famous boutiques, full to the brim with handmade leather sandals, and beautiful linen dresses, hand painted ceramics and delicious limoncello produced with the lemons from the surrounding hills. Once you have finished here, we will go to the Neighboring town of Amalfi itself. To reach Amalfi we will first cross the Furore Fiord, one of the most photo worthy locations on the whole coastline. Upon request we can also arrange a visit to the Emerald Grotto - one of the best and memorable experiences to do here.
Once we reach the ancient port of Amalfi - the Maritime republic - the skipper with let you off for some free time to explore this beautiful town, with its famous byzantine Cathedral of St Andrew & its cloisters. The entire stretch of Coastline with makes up the Amalfi Coast has been made a UNESCO heritage site for its surreal beauty. Don't miss out on the chance to try some of the local dishes that are on offer here, like a delicious Seafood Spaghetti, or pasta with Cetara Anchovy Sauce. These local specialties will make your day even more unique and memorable. Our day finishes off by heading back to the port of Sorrento, but not before one last dip in the Med followed by an ice cold glass of Limoncello on board!
